1.&n= bsp;            = ;  Come to the monthly meeting a few minutes ea= rly to start the orientation.  = Make sure to have your printed application and your certificate of completion of= a hunter safety course.  If = you do not have this, please bring a current hunting license.  Kinnicum meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30 pm.

2.&n= bsp;            = ;  The orientation will be a verbal review of t= he Membership Packet and you will be taken out to the ranges for a review of o= ur safety procedures.  Please understand that the range review and orientation may not be able to be completed on the same day.  Yo= u may need to return for the range review, which means you will not be voted into= the club until our next meeting.

3.&n= bsp;            = ;  Once the orientation and range review is complete, you can be voted into the club.&= nbsp; Our membership decides who can or cannot become a member.  Towards the end of the meeting, th= e vote will be taken.

4.&n= bsp;            = ;  If you have been voted into the club, wait f= or the meeting to end and see the club secretary.  You can then pay the membership fe= e and receive your membership card.

5.&n= bsp;            = ;  DUES:  Your first year dues are $120.00 + 12 hours of volunteer time.  After your first year, the dues are $60.00 + 12 hours of volunteer time.  If you do not complete your 12 hours of volunteer time, you will be charged a penalty of $60.00.

APPLICANT RULES AND REGULATIONS<= /o:p>

 

1.&n= bsp;            = ;  Applicant must be sponsored by a member in g= ood standing and submit a completed evaluation/orientation package.  Two directors must review and appr= ove the application.

 

2.&n= bsp;            = ;  Applicant must be present at meeting when applicant is voted upon for membership. If appli= cant is voted in, one year’s dues and an initiation fee totaling 120.00 mu= st be paid before a membership card is issued.

 

 

3.&n= bsp;            = ;  Applicant will serve a 12 month probationary period during which time applicant must complete the work requirement of 12 hours at club shoots or other such events as the officers may direct, such duties fulfill club work requirements for the probationary year.

 

4.&n= bsp;            = ;  Payment in lieu of work is not permitted dur= ing the probationary period.

 

 

5.&n= bsp;            = ;  Applicant’s performance of duties, adherence to posted rules, and range safety will be observed during the pro= bationary period.  If applicant is found= to be non-compliant for any reason judged valid by the officer and directors, membership will be terminated and applicant will forfeit all dues and fees paid.  Applicant shall have the opportunity to appeal this ruling at the next regular directors meeting.

 

6.&n= bsp;            = ;  Note that if any member is able to answer ye= s to any one of the four questions on the application form at any time during his/her membership, said membership will be terminated and all dues and fees paid forfeited.

Policy for Dues<= /b>

 

1.&n= bsp;             Dues are pa= yable January 1st to December 31st.  Any individual joining after Oct 1= is good for the next year.  Dues = must be received no later than the March meeting.

2.&n= bsp;             The secreta= ry working with the treasurer shall receive and keep a record of all dues and applications for membership.  = The secretary shall provide the treasure a list of all member dues and work sta= tus so that it can be checked as funds come in.

3.&n= bsp;             All work sh= eets and hours for members must be turned over to the secretary no later than October 31st.  The secretary will then pass on work hours to the membership manager.

4.&n= bsp;             Membership manager will compile a list of all members work hours completed and dues ow= ed to be reviewed at the November meeting by the Board of Directors.  After review if there are no discrepancies, the membership manager will be given the ok to send out dues notices.  Any members with a discrepancy will be handled at the November Directors meeting and will not = be mailed out until given approval of the Board.

5.&n= bsp;             When dues c= ome in the treasurer and the secretary will compare amount paid with list supplied= by membership manager before mailing out cards in a self-addressed, stamped envelope provided by member.  = Any questions must be referred to the Board before card is issued.  All other cards may be picked up b= y the members on meeting nights.

6.&n= bsp;             Hardships o= r any other cases concerning dues or work time must be referred to the Board.

7.&n= bsp;             Any complai= nts from members concerning dues or work time must be referred to the board bef= ore any funds are accepted.

8.&n= bsp;             All dues re= ceived after the March meeting must be referred to the Board before any other acti= on is taken.

9.&n= bsp;             Members sho= uld check benefits list for any exemptions in dues or work time they may be eligible for before dues notices go out.

Work Policy<= /p>

 

1.&n= bsp;             All first y= ear members under a one-year probationary period are required to perform a mandatory 12 hour work requirement within their first year.

 

2.&n= bsp;             Any member = after their first year, who has failed to fulfill the full 12 hour work time will be assessed a prorated fee for every hour not worked unless exempted.

 

3.&n= bsp;             Any member = after 16 consecutive years as a member may apply for work exemption and work fee exemption.  It is the member&#= 8217;s responsibility to apply for such exemption to be eligible.

 

4.&n= bsp;             Members mus= t have their hours documented on a Kinnicum work form = and signed by the work party foreman.  Members must turn in their Kinnicum work= forms to the club secretary at the next club meeting.  Your work forms must be turned in = by Oct. 31.  After Oct. 31 they w= ill not be credited.  It is solely= your responsibility to keep track of and hand in your work forms.  Work forms will be available from = the work party foreman.

1.&n= bsp;             Use of rang= es seven days a week except on scheduled events, workdays and other days appro= ved by the Board of Directors.  Me= mbers welcome at all scheduled events. 

 

2.&n= bsp;             Member shoo= t---- this is a fun event for members and their families only= . There usually is a fee but it depends on what events are taking place, sometime t= here is a BBQ with it.  The shooting event consists of three different shooting principles, rifle, handgun, and shotgun at various targets.  I= t is a lot of fun for everyone with trophies for the high scores.

 

3.&n= bsp;             Member Disc= ount on Tuesday night sporting clays, weekend clays and select events with enough member interest.

 

4.&n= bsp;             Use of wobb= le trap on trap field after going through a safety, operation, and responsibil= ity course and receiving a key to the trap house.  MUST BE A MEMBER FOR MORE THAN 1 Y= EAR TO APPLY.

 

5.&n= bsp;             Archery pra= ctice butts and practice course for members.

3.&n= bsp;            = ;  NO HANDLING of firearms and bows after consu= ming alcohol.

17.&= nbsp;           No live ammunition in trash cans.

18.&= nbsp;           Time limit on benches is 45 minutes if other shooters are waiting.

19.&= nbsp;           No full automatic firearms allowed.

20.&= nbsp;           No broad heads on archery targets.
